Lam's Colour of Ink has won the Nieuw Ensemble's 2nd Chinese Composers Competition. The concerto for four Chinese instruments & chamber ensemble was premiered 23 January 2010 in Gent, Belgium for the Europalia Festival, and will receive a second performance in Amsterdam. |

Lefkowitz's secular cantata Lincoln Echoes received it's premiere on 19 November 2009. Set for baritone/tenor soloists w/narrator, choir & orchestra, it combines text excerpts from Lincoln, FDR, MLK, the Declaration of Independence & U.S. Constitution, and President Barack Obama. |
